Snow Management

I started Greenway with a simple idea — to take pride in the spaces we build and maintain. Landscaping and masonry have always been about creating something lasting, something that represents care and craftsmanship. Over time, we realized that true care doesn’t stop when the temperatures drop — it continues year-round. That’s what led us into snow management.

After building so many driveways, walkways, and patios across Long Island, it never sat right with me to see winter undo what we worked so hard to create. I’ve seen too many properties where the wrong plow blade or de-icing material caused damage that could’ve easily been avoided. I thought — who better to protect these surfaces than the same people who built them?

Snow management, to me, isn’t just about clearing snow; it’s about preserving what’s underneath. It’s planning ahead — knowing where the runoff goes, how the grading works, and which materials can handle the freeze-thaw cycle best. Because we understand every detail of a property’s layout, we can manage snow in a way that protects masonry, landscaping, and safety all at once.

For commercial sites and homeowners alike, our approach is proactive. We don’t just react to a storm — we prepare for it. We monitor weather patterns, plan routes, and treat each property as a system that deserves care, not just a quick pass with a plow.

Snow management became part of Greenway because it fits who we are. It’s about responsibility, craftsmanship, and showing up when it matters most — even in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter.
