This Garden City exterior project involved multiple masonry and paving elements designed to improve function, durability, and visual consistency across the front of the home.
The project began with the removal and replacement of the existing driveway. A new asphalt driveway was installed over a properly prepared base and finished with a cobblestone border. The stone edging provides a clean transition between the driveway and surrounding areas while reinforcing the asphalt edges for long-term stability.
At the front of the house, natural stone veneer was installed along the foundation and entryway to create a cohesive stone façade. The front steps were rebuilt using stone veneer risers and solid stone treads, providing a durable, slip-resistant surface and a finished look that complements the home’s exterior.
Additional masonry work included wrapping the chimney in natural stone veneer to match the front elevation. A secondary stone step set was also constructed adjacent to the chimney, maintaining material continuity while improving access and flow around the entry area.
The completed work ties together the driveway, entry steps, and chimney with consistent materials and detailing, resulting in a unified exterior upgrade suited to both everyday use and long-term performance.
